YOUNG ARTISTS PIANO COMPETITION WINNER
FEATURED AT THE OK MOZART INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL

AWARD
The prize for the winner of the 2009 Young Artists Piano Competition is to be presented in concerts and recitals throughout Israel during 2009 as well as in a recital performance during the 2010 OK MOZART International Festival. Additional concert performances will also be arranged by OKIE, and the winner will be offered management support and assistance for one year.

Winner of the 2010 competition will be announced at the June 11-19, 2010 OK MOZART International Festival in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The Young Artists Piano Competition Recital will feature both the 2009 competition winner and the 2010 winner. This is the third year that the Young Artists Competition is presented by the Oklahoma Israel Exchange (OKIE) and hosted at OK MOZART.


HOW TO APPLY
To participate in this competition, applicants must be pianists between the ages of 21 and 28 and be currently enrolled in or have graduated from an Oklahoma institution of higher education. An application form along with a CD recording and other required materials, must be submitted by April 1, 2010. Applicants are required to provide a recorded sample of ONE of the following: a movement of a piano sonata, a movement of a piano concerto, or a short work by Mozart. Applications will be screened by a jury and those selected as semi-finalists will be invited to perform for a jury of distinguished judges.
